JetMenu is a WordPress plugin from Crocoblock that allows you to create an advanced menu on your WordPress website. The plugin is mainly aimed at allowing you to create a mega menu, but you can also use it to create other menu types as well, including off-canvas menu. JetMenu was initially developed exclusively for Elementor, but it is now also compatible with Gutenberg. If you use JetMenu on Elementor, upgrading to Elementor Pro is not required to use the plugin. However, you won’t be able to add your menu to the header as you need Elementor Pro to create a custom header. Crocoblock itself also has a plugin that you can use to create a custom header called JetThemeCore. You can consider it as an alternative to Elementor Theme Builder.

The way JetMenu works is quite simple. First, you edit the mega menu on the WordPress menu manager (Appearance -> Menus). Once the mega menu is created, you can call it via the dedicated elements offered by the plugin (Elementor widgets and Gutenberg blocks). Here are the elements offered by JetMenu:

  • Mega Menu (Elementor and Gutenberg)
  • Vertical Mega Menu (Elementor only)
  • Hamburger Menu (Elementor and Gutenberg)

You can add a mega menu on each menu item on your menu. Since the mega menu is created using Elementor or Gutenberg, you can add any element you want. If you use Elementor, for instance, you can use the Posts widget to display blog posts when users however on a certain menu item.
